On Wednesday, December 10, 2026, members of the School Board and District Cabinet had the privilege of surprising the Top Five District Finalists for Teacher of the Year and Employee of the Year in classrooms, offices, and workspaces across the District.
Each surprise was met with applause, emotion, and pride as colleagues gathered to celebrate these outstanding individuals. In several locations, family members were also present, making the moment even more meaningful as honorees were recognized by those who know their dedication best.
